This is the familiar block generation & schedule report.
Soon you’ll be changing to a new epoch. Was the block successfully generated?
The block was successfully generated.
Good, good, good!
The next epoch had no block generation opportunities.
Oops.
Reality is harsh.
Let’s switch topics.
(It’s rare that Haniwa switches topics.)
This is about the unexpected readers of this blok, which I announced in my last blog.
Is it really that surprising?
I found it surprising, to say the least.
I looked at the access information about the people who read this blog.
Mm-hmm.
Please see some of the information in that section.
Are your readers overwhelmingly from the U.S.!
It seems so.
Even though I write articles in English, I didn’t think there would be such a difference in the number of accesses from Japan.
I’m sure search engine crawlers and the like are omitted from the settings, so it’s almost always people.
What is a crawler?
When you want to look something up on Yahoo or google, you type in a keyword and search, right?
And the search results that match those keywords come up, right?
Exactly.
If we want to make that happen, we have to look at as many websites that exist in the world as possible and find out once and for all what kind of information they have.
That’s true. Isn’t there a specialist patrolling the area?
The content of a website can be changed at will, and it would be a hell of a lot of work if people had to go through it every time.
It would take a tremendous amount of people and time. Therefore, an automatic robot called a crawler is used to search the world’s homepages
The crawler is a robot that automatically patrols the web site and gathers information according to a set of rules.
So this blog has been patrolled then?
Exactly.
I’m not certain how often, but I have the crawler set to not count them as visitors.
Heh.
Off topic, but it is interesting that Japan and Germany are almost the same.
I honestly wondered if I needed an English website? I was feeling like…
I guess it’s absolutely necessary.
That kind of thing.
Personally, the other thing I didn’t know was what medium they were using to watch it.
I knew there were a lot of smartphones.
I thought so too.
Maybe it’s not a smart phone?
The results were completely different from what I had in mind.
You’re looking at us from many different environments in many different countries.
True. Let’s at least continue with the English site.
Yeah, yeah, let me know if this balance changes again.
OK.
Well, that’s all for today.
Have a good staking life, everyone.
Bye-bye.
